AGROmashEXPO and Agrárgépshow in 2018 between 24 and 27 of January
The Tractor of the Year at Budapest Fair Center
Every year, AGROmashEXPO and AgrárgépShow are the most significant professional events of the Hungarian agricultural business, presenting the latest innovations and trends to farmers in the sector’s rest period. The list of innovations includes the Valtra T254 Versu Smart Touch which won the Tractor of the Year and the Design Tractor of the Year awards and will be presented at the event for the first time in the region.
From 24 to 27 January 2018, over 300 exhibitors will be awaiting agricultural industry experts to visit their stands presented across 40,000 square meters at the Budapest Fair Center, coupled with the Hungarian Garden and Viticulture and Viniculture exhibitions.
The jury completed its review of the entrants for the AGROmashEXPO and AgrárgépShow Product Awards in December. The jury of professional experts awarded the Product Competition Grand Prize to 2 out of this year’s 37 exhibitor tenders with special awards given to 13 submissions.

The awarded products and firms will appear amongst the top distributors of major international brands at the AgrárgépShow in late January, thus helping visitors survey the supply of the Hungarian agricultural machine market, allowing them to make more informed purchase decisions. Apart from the major brands presented by the distributors (Claas, John Deere, Messey Ferguson, Valtra, Lamborghini, Fendt, Case, Krone, etc.), exhibitors from numerous foreign countries will be presenting their new products and wares. The newly developed and often award-winning machines will be displayed here for the first time after the Hannover fair. Apart from the above-mention Tractor of the Year, the Fendt 211 Vario V – the Special Tractor of the Year – will also be on display at the exhibition.
Apart from engines and machines, over the recent years, there has been a growing supply of seeds, propagation materials, pesticides, artificial fertilizers and pest-control substances at the AGROmashEXPO exhibition, as well as an increasing number of exhibitors in the fields of agricultural electronics, measurement technology and automation, providing farmers with a great opportunity to discover new agricultural industry trends. For example, amongst the list of awards in the subject field of Input, we can find products such as the KITE start Liquid NP liquid starter artificial fertilizer.
Development is also facilitated by top quality lectures and conferences hosted by our professional partners, providing visitors with answers to the latest issues and questions. The list of by now traditional events includes the National Association of Grain Producers Day, the Agricultural Marketing and Media Day of the Hungarian Agricultural professional journal and the Online Marketing Conference hosted by the Agroinform online portal. New features include the PREGA roundtable discussions on the first day of the exhibition on the subject of data-based decisions on arable lands, addressing the main issues of precision farming.
